1) Energy, management and its savings
The field of energy is one of the financially largest budget items. A significant component is lighting in municipalities.

2) Waste and its management
Waste and its collection. Management is usually based on recurring actions. It is therefore “time-driven” and not “event-driven”.

3) Security and its enhancement in municipalities
An interesting area that can contribute to a higher degree of protection of persons and property. However, questions of privacy and the boundary between them that is acceptable are also connected with this.

4) Environment
A current area. However, this is not protection in the sense of environmental protection agencies, but questions of resource management, for example irrigation of green areas.

5) Tourism and services for “non-residents”
A very interesting area concerning the enhancement of attractive places in the municipality. The concept of Digital Virtual Educational Trails is shown here, as well as their link to “up-sell”, i.e. additional services.

6) e-Health and visions connected with it
A great vision for the future (though not a distant one), which can make health and health-monitoring services more accessible and more economical.
